He first obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from Drexel College of Medicine. This dual training in both dentistry and medicine equips him with an extensive toolkit, enabling him to understand systemic health issues that could impact oral surgery procedures. He is able to provide more comprehensive patient care by considering the whole body, not just the mouth, which leads to accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. He underwent top-ranked Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Michigan, where he gained experience not only in core maxillofacial surgeries, but also in microvascular surgeries and complex dental implant surgeries. He has worked as the preferred oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Orlando at premier dental implants surgical practice prior to moving back to serve the population of Maine. Dr. Harriman's extensive experience and training provide advanced surgical expertise, allowing him to customize care to meet your specific needs.
